1. Carefully read and follow all relevant safety information (→ Child restraints).

2. If necessary, fold open the protective covers for the ISOFIX or i-Size anchor points.

3. Insert the child restraint connectors in the direction indicated and push them firmly into the ISOFIX or i-Size anchor points → fig. 1.

The connectors must engage securely with an audible click.

4. Pull on both sides of the child restraint to ensure it is securely locked into place.

For enhanced safety in the Volkswagen ID.4, always double-check that the child seat is firmly attached and does not move excessively after installation.
