Adjusting the height of the front head restraint

1. In the Volkswagen ID.4, raise the head restraint by pushing it upward in the direction of the arrow, or lower it by pressing the release button → fig. 1 -1- while guiding it downward.

The head restraint in the Volkswagen ID.4 must lock securely into either the highest or one of the intermediate positions. When fully lowered, where the guide rods are completely inserted, the head restraint does not lock into place.

Adjusting the height of the rear head restraint

1. If required, adjust the rear head restraint in your Volkswagen ID.4 by sliding it upward or downward while pressing the release button → fig. 2 -1-.

The head restraint must audibly and securely engage in the selected position to ensure proper safety performance in the Volkswagen ID.4.
