De-energising high-voltage system
DANGER
High voltage can cause fatal injury.
Danger of severe or fatal injuries from electric shock or electric
arcs.
- Have a high-voltage technician (HVT) or a high-voltage
expert (HVE) de-energise the high-voltage system.
Important
- If problems occur during the de-energisation procedure, always
inform the high-voltage expert.
- Have a calibrated voltage tester with suitable test probes
ready.
- Prepare signage and barrier.
- De-energise high-voltage system using ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic
tester ⇒ Rep. gr. 00 ; Access to diagnoses .
Re-energise high-voltage system
Re-energising high-voltage system
WARNING
High voltage can cause fatal injury.
Danger of severe or fatal injuries from electric shock or electric
arcs.
- Have a high-voltage technician (HVT) or a high-voltage
expert (HVE) re-energise the high-voltage system.
- Check potential equalisation line.
- Visually inspect insulation of detached potential equalisation
line.
- Verify specified torque of loosened threaded connections for
potential equalisation line.
- Re-energise high-voltage system using ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic
tester ⇒ Rep. gr. 00 ; Access to diagnoses .
