Video mode

The audio track of the video is always output through the vehicle speakers, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction.

For safety reasons, the video image is only displayed when the Volkswagen ID.4 is stationary. As soon as the vehicle begins to move, the display is automatically deactivated, while the audio continues uninterrupted.

In certain countries, due to legal safety regulations, video playback on the screen may be restricted even when the vehicle is not moving.

Introduction

The Volkswagen ID.4 navigation system determines the current vehicle position using global satellite navigation systems. For optimal route guidance, this data is continuously compared with stored map information and real-time traffic data when available.
