The Climatronic system in the Volkswagen ID.4 is an advanced automatic climate control system that heats, cools, and dehumidifies the interior air to maintain optimal comfort. In automatic mode, the system intelligently regulates temperature, airflow distribution, and fan speed without driver intervention.

For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to keep the cabin closed while the air conditioning system is active. If the interior temperature is excessively high, briefly ventilating the vehicle can accelerate the cooling process.

Driving with icy, fogged, or snow-covered windows significantly reduces visibility and increases the risk of accidents.

• Ensure all windows are clear before driving.
• Adjust heating, air conditioning, and defrosting systems appropriately to prevent fogging.
• Only begin driving when full visibility is restored.
• Use air recirculation mode only briefly, as prolonged use may cause windows to fog quickly.
• Deactivate recirculation mode when it is no longer needed.

Some settings in the Volkswagen ID.4 can be stored in driver personalization profiles and will automatically adjust when switching between users.
