Switching the turn signals on and off

1. Switch on the ignition in your Volkswagen ID.4.

2. Move the turn signal and high beam lever from its neutral position to the desired direction → fig. 1.

3. To cancel the signal, return the lever to its original position.

If no audible signal is heard while the turn signal is active, have the Volkswagen ID.4 inspected by a qualified professional. Volkswagen recommends visiting an authorized Volkswagen dealer or service center.

3-blink turn signal

To activate the 3-blink function in the Volkswagen ID.4, lightly move the turn signal lever to the pressure point and release it. The indicator will blink three times automatically.

To cancel the 3-blink turn signal early, move the lever briefly in the opposite direction and release it.

The 3-blink function can be enabled or disabled through the Infotainment system settings in the Volkswagen ID.4.

Incorrect use or failure to use turn signals in the Volkswagen ID.4 can mislead other road users and lead to serious accidents.

• Always signal clearly when changing lanes, overtaking, or turning.
• Always switch off the turn signal after completing the maneuver.

The hazard warning lights in the Volkswagen ID.4 can operate even when the ignition is switched off.

Certain lighting and signal settings can be stored in user profiles and will automatically adjust when switching drivers in the Volkswagen ID.4.
