The airbag control unit - J234- will henceforth be referred to as "airbag control unit".
Removing
gr. 27 ; Battery; Disconnecting and connecting battery .

NOTICE
Risk of damage to airbag control unit. Electrical connectors corrode when exposed to moisture.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
gr. 27 ; Battery; Disconnecting and connecting battery .
CAUTION
It is possible to trigger pyrotechnic components unintentionally.
Risk of injury.
If airbag control unit - J234- has been renewed:
Continued
Tightening torques
Removing and installing airbag control unit J234, right-hand drive vehicles
Special tools and workshop equipment required
