3. Home Button: (referred to as HOME)

In some markets, the HOME button in the Volkswagen ID.4 can be customized for faster access to frequently used functions.

1. Tap HOME to open the main screen of the Volkswagen ID.4 Infotainment system.

5. Sensor area (Infotainment system on or off)

1. Tap this sensor area to manually power the Volkswagen ID.4 Infotainment system on or off.

6. Touch control for temperature

Separate temperature controls are available for the driver and front passenger in the Volkswagen ID.4.

• Swipe left to decrease the temperature.
• Swipe right to increase the temperature.

7. Touch control for volume

• Swipe left to reduce the volume.
• Swipe right to increase the volume in the Volkswagen ID.4.

8. Views (current view is highlighted)

Menus within the Volkswagen ID.4 may provide multiple layouts or views displaying different types of information.

• Tap a view to activate it.
• Swipe left or right on the screen to switch between available views.

9. Control Center

The Control Center in the Volkswagen ID.4 provides quick access to essential features and notifications, such as Auto Hold. Displayed functions can be customized according to driver preferences.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Control Center.

10. Function keys for main menus

The arrangement of function keys in the Volkswagen ID.4 can be adjusted for improved usability and quicker navigation.

1. Tap a function key to open the desired main menu, such as navigation or media.

11. Screen (touchscreen)

The touchscreen is the primary interface for controlling the Volkswagen ID.4 Infotainment system. Screen brightness and display options can be adjusted via the Control Center. Additional gesture instructions are available in the digital manual.

1. Tap HOME Operation.

Gesture control (without position numbers)

The Volkswagen ID.4 also supports gesture control, allowing intuitive interaction with the system without physical contact.

1. Tap HOME Screen Hand gesture.
