Checklist

Always carry out the following steps in the specified sequence when preparing your Volkswagen ID.4 for tire repair → .

1. Park the Volkswagen ID.4 at a safe distance from traffic on a firm and level surface. Follow all parking safety instructions (→ Parking).

2. Activate the emergency flashers to increase visibility (→ Center console).

3. Ensure all passengers exit the Volkswagen ID.4 on the side away from traffic and move to a safe location, such as behind a guardrail. Comply with local safety regulations, including wearing reflective vests if required.

4. Set up the warning triangle to alert other road users.

6. If towing a trailer, disconnect it and secure it safely.

7. If necessary, remove items from the luggage compartment to access equipment.

8. Remove the tire mobility set from the luggage compartment of the Volkswagen ID.4.

9. Do not remove any foreign object, such as a screw or nail, from the tire before sealing.
