Removing Hubcaps

The hubcap on the Volkswagen ID.4 protects the wheel bolts and must always be reinstalled after completing a wheel change.
1. Take the extraction hook from the vehicle tool kit and insert it into an opening (for alloy wheels) or hook it onto the edge (for steel wheels) of the hubcap → fig. 1.
2. Carefully pull the hubcap in the direction indicated by the arrow to remove it.
Fitting Hubcaps
1. Position the hubcap centrally on the rim and press it firmly until it engages securely around the entire circumference.

Incorrect or unsuitable hubcaps on the Volkswagen ID.4 may detach while driving and create a hazard for other road users.
