Volkswagen ID.4: Safety belt height adjuster

The Volkswagen ID.4 is equipped with a safety belt height adjustment system that allows you to adapt the shoulder belt position to your body size for improved comfort and safety.

1. Press and hold the safety belt height adjustment button in the direction indicated by the arrows → fig. 1.

2. Move the adjuster up or down until the shoulder belt rests correctly across the center of your shoulder (→ Safety belt positioning).

3. Release the adjustment button to lock the position.

4. Pull firmly on the safety belt to ensure that the adjuster is securely engaged.

WARNING

Adjusting the safety belt height while the Volkswagen ID.4 is in motion may result in serious or fatal injuries.

• Never adjust the safety belt height while driving.
