Removing and installing seat occupied recognition control unit [J706]

The seat occupied recognition control unit - J706- will henceforth be referred to as "seat occupied recognition control unit".

Removing

• ⇒ Rep. gr. 72 ; Secure front seat to seat repair stand
• Unclip electrical wire from retainer -3-.
• Disconnect electrical connector -2-.
• Push locking pin completely out of retainer -3-.
• Unclip seat occupied recognition control unit -1- in direction of -arrow A-.
• Detach seat occupied recognition control unit -1- in direction of -arrow B-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Route electrical wire so that original wiring layout is restored.
