Volkswagen ID.4: Sockets in the vehicle

When using electrical sockets in the Volkswagen ID.4, always ensure that the maximum permitted power output is not exceeded. The power consumption of connected external devices is specified on their identification labels and must be observed to prevent system overload or damage.

The total continuous output of all 12 V sockets in the Volkswagen ID.4 is 120 watts (→ Sockets).

When the Volkswagen ID.4 is drive-ready, a single 12 V socket can deliver a maximum output of up to 180 watts.

NOTICE

Prolonged use of the 12 V sockets at maximum load in the Volkswagen ID.4 may cause the fuse to blow or damage the electrical system.

• Do not operate a 12 V socket at maximum capacity for more than 10 minutes.
• Use only one 12 V socket at maximum load at any given time.
